I used to think getting fit and healthy was about eating less and moving more. How wrong I was. What a hardline statement that is. Where is the compassion and kindness? For many of us, we have struggled to be fit and healthy for so many reasons. So many painful reasons that lead us to unhealthy habits. I turned to food for comfort because I was struggling with so many things. I felt anxious and stressed out, I was lonely, had no boundaries, I had very low self-esteem, and there were things from my past I needed to learn how to let go of... The last thing I needed was someone telling me to eat less and move more. Today's episode is a gentle reminder that getting fit and healthy isn't about eating less and moving more... It's so much more. Let’s dive in.
