Goal setting and action steps are absolutely brilliant when everything is going well, but when things get tough, it can be really difficult to stay on course. A reason for this is because self doubt, uncertainty, anxiety and stress can creep in.
When that happens, it can be difficult to keep doing what you’ve been doing. However, it’s consistency that gets you exactly where you want to be, and without it, you’re not going to achieve your goals. In this episode. I share with you my five affirmations that I use every day to keep me on the right course. These affirmations help remind me to keep putting in the work. They keep me grounded and my mindset in good shape, when I’m not feeling very certain. I used to be anxious so often, that walking around with anxiety became a part of me. Back then, I never thought I'd be free of it. At one stage my anxiety got so bad, I started to have panic attacks.
I realise now that this is no way to live, but back then I used to do things to try to run away from how I felt. I would comfort eat, or clean the house, or surround myself with busyness. I didn’t like sitting still back then.
It’s been a really interesting journey over the last couple of years and one that I wanted to share with you.
